Jakub Brukwicki, PhD


is a Berlin-based lawyer and advises both German and international clients on all questions of public economic law. The main areas of his activity are construction and planning law and especially railway law.
Dr. Brukwicki studied law at the Humboldt University of Berlin, where he also completed additional legal studies in American law. In 2016, he was awarded his doctorate in law (Dr. iur.). His doctoral thesis entitled “The Planning Requirement in Building Law” was supervised by Professor Dr. Rosemarie Will. From 2015 till 2017, Dr. Brukwicki completed his legal clerkship at the Court of Appeal in Berlin. Positions during his legal clerkship included working for the Senate Administration for Integration, Employment and Social Affairs in Berlin and the German Consulate General in New York.   
Dr. Brukwicki has been a research assistant at the legal firm since 2013, since 2017 he belongs to the firm as a lawyer.
